Ø Tatranská Lomnica - 800 metres above sea level offers two resorts: one called Jamy at the foot of the mountain and the second Skalnaté pleso, which is one of the tallest mountains of the Tatras.

        Skalnaté pleso 1700 - 2200 metres above sea level, is amongst the best in Slovakia; it is the highest situated ski resort with a downhill ski run stretching down to the foot of Lomnický peak (2634m). Its two 'black' runs offer an adrenaline rush for even the most experienced skiers.

         Jamy (night time skiing) is a smaller resort, with slopes for all levels of skiers. A day ski pass is approximately 640/380SKK. A 6 day ski pass around 3300/1980SKK.

ØBachledova dolina - Jezersko 1160 metres above sea level is ideal for family ski outings, which offers four separate ski lifts for beginner and experienced skiers alike. Snowmobiles are available for rent. The resort has 8 different ski runs ranging from 480m to 1830 metres in length and three cross country skiing trails: Hreben 5000m, Jazero 8000m and Dolina 6000m. Day ski passes cost approximately 299/249SKK and a 6 day ski pass will work out at 1700/1400SKK!!!

ØŽdiar - Strednica 900 metres above sea level offers day and night time skiing and is ideal for beginner and intermediate skiers and for families with small children. The resort offers ski tuition for both children and adults. A choice of 7 ski lifts and slopes with a height range of 90metres will cost 390/340SKK per day or 2280/1980SKK for 6 days.


ØTANAP (Tatranský National Park) - here a total 600km of marked mountain trails criss-cross the national park and so do a further 160km of cyclist tracks, which range in difficulty from extremely demanding to effortless and reach a maximum altitude of 2503 metres above sea level. The less experienced visitors undertake relaxing hikes to many of the countless mountain lakes with crystal clear waters and numerous waterfalls. Twelve mountain chalets dot the national park, so that visitors have a change to catch some breath. For the more adventurous and dare-devilish visitors, there are opportunities of mountain climbing, ski alpinism, paragliding, rafting and flying.

ØPIENAP (Pieninský National Park) - discover the beautiful scenery of this national park and the untamed power of the river Dunajec with its legendary raft sailing.

ØNPSR (National Park Slovenský Raj) - located on a relatively small but beautiful area you will find many natural wonders: caves, gorges, canyons and scenic views. A true paradise: the Slovak word raj translates into paradise


Ø Belianska cave, Važecká cave, in the neighbouring region Gemer you will find two caves, which are unique both in Europe and the rest of the world: Dobšinská ice cave and Ochtinská aragonite cave.

ØVrbov - 7 pools, including massage pool, 3 children pools and toboggans. Water with temperature 26-38°C is regularly replaced, in massage pool every 2 hours. Thermal mineral water improves motion and nervous system, breathing and cardiovascular apparatus.

ØVyšné Ružbachy - has 14 mineral thermal water springs suitable for overall physical and psychological well-being. There is also a curious natural feature, a travertine crater- 20m in diameter with a pond inside. The travertine stone was also used to carve the statues in the nearby open air art gallery in the site of former quarry.

ØAquaCity Pthe water is pumped from depth 1300 m and thanks to modern UV technology is perfectly clean with no Chloride. The water improves the condition of the nervous system, blood circulation and treats the pain in joints. There are 3 outdoor, 1 indoor swimming pool and 1 pool for relaxation- artificial geezers, water jets, spouts and the water massage area. There are also 6 aroma saunas and a snow cave. If you like the adrenalin rush there are toboggans and the 'black hole', with scary ride through the tunnel with laser beams.
The Cryotherapy section with temperature -200°C is a treatment for syndromes such as fibromyalgia, arthritis, chronic pains due to wear on joints and the spine, lower back disorders, rheumatoid joint inflammation, inflammation, fibrositis, sclerosis, osteoporosis, cellulite and depression.


ØSpišský hrad - a monumental castle, the largest in central Europe, a complex of defence systems that withstood the invasion of Mongols, place where Dragonheart and other Hollywood films were filmed. Nearby there are travertine springs and rock formation (suitable for rock climbers) and a unique medieval church of Žehra (place of filming of Dr Zhivago). Also see Spišská Kapitula- the medieval town entirely populated by priests.

ØKežmarok (MPR) - one of the major historic towns of the region famous for the European Festival of Folk Crafts. You can visit the Town Castle, an incredible protestant Articular Wooden Church, renaissance belfry, town hall, museum, gallery or just stroll around the historic main square with strange local architecture of overhanging roofs.

ØSpišská Sobota (MPR) - a small but perfectly preserved ancient medieval town, move back into middle ages. The interior of the St George Church, has a precious late gothic altar from year 1516, made by the legendary gothic Master Paul of Levoča.

Ø Levoča (MPR) - the major historic medieval town, full of superlatives - the Church of St Jacob has the highest gothic altar in the world made by Master Paul, its beauty is complemented by well preserved medieval paintings with hidden meanings The whole town is full of history, don't miss the major pilgrimage site Mariánska hora, the picturesque renaissance town hall, with the White Lady of Levoča, and the house of Master Paul where you can see how these masterpieces were being made.

Ø Červený Kláštor - A ruin of isolated monastery of the mysterious contemplative Cartesian Order set in the wild country. See how these extreme monks survived in spartan conditions. The place is set between the steep massifs of Pieniny mountain range cut in two by a wild river, you can get on the comfortable river rafts and enjoy the scenery. Its here that the medieval monk Cyprian has undertook a first successful flight in world's history.

Ø Ždiar - is a unique living village of wooden folk architecture set against the backdrop of rocky peaks of Belianske Tatra mountain range. The local ethnic group of Gorals- which means 'mountain people'- has created a painted wooden architecture of houses found nowhere else and the remains of traditional life are still visible.
